Owner Dave Weber a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of background in drag and oval track racing. As a partner of Ritter and Weber Racing in the 1980s and 90s I designed and machined first 48 degree lifter bore R3 blocks used for Craftsman Truck and Pro Stock racing. During that time we also did head developement and built first small block Chrysler cam belt drive. Our racing during that time was NHRA Super Stock and Competition Eliminator with numerous records in the 80's and 90's. In 1998 I joined the NASCAR world. As engine builder,CNC head port designer and eventually General Manager of Arrington Racing Engines1998-2006(only mechanical engineer on staff)we were able to acumulate numerous poles, wins, and 2 Craftsman Truck Championships.
In 2006 Modern Muscle Performance was formed and began focusing efforts on the Gen 3 Hemi in addition to R&D for Dodge Motorsports and Chrysler new engine development.
