Hop Not, LLC has developed these rubber strips that attach to the OEM half plates you removed from the front cradle bushings/mounts at the beginning of the Stage 1 install. You can now have the piece of mind of knowing that your vehicle can return to stock at anytime you choose, as long as a minimal amount of material (1/8") is removed from the inner edge of the cradle bushing/mount sleeves. Want to perform additional testing with and/or without the Hop Not products? Scheduled visit to the dealer? The choice is yours; we developed these strips simply to offer our customers the piece of mind that their vehicle may return to stock if so desired...although, after having a Hop Not product installed we can't imagine anyone wanting to be without it.
These rubber strips replace what was trimmed off the bottom of both front cradle bushings/mounts when installing the Stage 1 Machined Spacers. These strips attach to the OEM half plates to make up for the rubber dimples that were previously removed. Please see the Stage 1 install instructions for a full description of what materials are trimmed during the install and how these strips effectively replace it.
The rubber strips are attached to the OEM half plates with two push rivets per side. Your order will include two pre-drilled rubber strips and four push rivets.The install is quick and easy; simply place the rubber strips over the OEM half plates, mark the holes, drill two holes per plate and install with the supplied push rivets. \

Product Description This heavy duty torque strut is purpose built to meet the needs of your Dodge Challenger, Charger, Magnum, or Chrysler 300.
Control that Hemi beast without any unwanted noise or vibration.
We accomplish this with the use of two special bushings at the lower frame bracket while firmly attaching to the top front motor mount bolt with a heavy duty rod end. Automatic driven vehicles have an extreme amount of flex at the factory motor mounts and although the six speed vehicles have less total movement they are all subject to premature failure.
In fact, you'll likely find that the driver's side mount has signs of the rubber tearing away from the steel sleeve once the rubber side strips are removed and the mount can actually be seen. In most cases the mount has to be removed to inspect due to the coverage by the mentioned side strips.

Stage 1 is a must have for anyone seeking that performance car driving experience. Your Dodge Challenger, Charger, Magnum, or Chrysler 300 will drive and handle like it's on rails. Although, not all automatic driven cars experience extreme wheel hop, they do still share the same cradle movement issues. This unwanted movement at the cradle also minimizes the effectiveness of other suspension upgrades such as aftermarket springs, coilovers, stiffer sway bars, etc. The Hop Not Stage 1 kit should be your first suspension upgrade for your best results.
Stage 1 consist of four CNC machined spacers, two special flat washers, and a tool/sleeve that’s provided for easy removal of the OEM plates located at the front cradle mounts. The proprietary spacers are designed to attach to the bottom of each rubber cradle bushing/mount and eliminate the movement that the rubber mounts allow at the cradle or sometimes referred to as the rear sub-frame. Each spacer is machined to extremely tight tolerance levels to ensure that the small tapered lip of the spacer seats against the inner edge of the sleeve found in each OEM rubber mount while bottoming out against the inner spacer at the same point.
Dodge Challenger, Charger, Magnum, and Chrysler 300 owners with automatic transmissions can enjoy the same handling improvements as manual transmission owners by eliminating unwanted movement felt at the rear cradle. The boat rocking sensation felt as the car is rocked back and forth at highway speeds is eliminated with this kit. This upgrade is a great addition to your Challenger’s suspension, even if you are currently using aftermarket sway bars, coil overs, lowered springs, etc.
Consider adding the adjustable sway bar link when installing Stage 1 on a six speed car.
Warning: the machined spacer kit must be installed as a full set. The front spacers are a different design than the rear. Never drive the car without all four spacers installed. Installing less than the full set will allow part of the rear cradle to move at the ones that are still rubber only and cause failures at the ones that are rigid mounted.
